Microsoft Copilot is an artificial intelligence assistant designed for use in Microsoft 365 applications, helping users to streamline workflows and interact with systems using everyday language. It utilises large language models (LLMs) and combines them with your data in the Microsoft Graph and M365 apps to unlock productivity and enhance creativity. The tool is integrated with Microsoft 365 apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is available for commercial customers at a cost of $30 per user per month. This includes users on Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium licences. Microsoft Copilot pricing is competitive and designed with businesses of all shapes and sizes in mind.

To use Microsoft 365 Copilot, you need to turn it on within any of the integrated Microsoft 365 applications using the app’s ribbon menu. From here, the tool will intelligently work alongside you to improve efficiency and enhance productivity. For example, you can use the tool in Microsoft Word to speed up your creativity by asking it to provide you with a first draft to edit. In Excel, you could use it to detect patterns in data or create simple data visualisations.
